Job brief

  • Position: Online English Teacher
  • Class duration: 45 minutes/ slot
  • Flexible teaching hours from 08:00 am to 11:45 pm (GMT +7) | Up to 16 teaching time slots per day
  • Peak hours: 19:00 – 23:45 | Monday – Sunday
  • Program: General English for adult learners
  • Teaching on NativeX’s platform
  • Expected start working date: ASAP

Job description

> Pre-class

  • Register availability (two-week period) and provide sufficient teaching hours as required
  • Check teaching schedule and notifications from NativeX frequently
  • Preview lesson slides and study teaching material carefully

>In class

  • Join assigned classes/ conduct substitute teaching when needed;
  • Follow provided lesson plans and presentations to teach students general English skills
  • Correct pronunciation; grammar mistakes for students

>After class

  • Complete class feedback;

>Other

  • Follow the requirements stated in the current effective Teacher’s Handbook.

1.Technical Requirements

  • Operation System: at least macOS: 10.9 / Windows: 10 Professional; 64 bit
  • Hardware: RAM: >= 8 GB AND CPU at least 04 cores  OR Clockspeed at least 1.8 GHz
  • Internet band with: Ping <20ms; Upload >20Mbps; Download >30Mbps
  • Have webcam; headphones and microphone

2.Education & Training

  • 4th-year students majoring in English Language and English Pedagogy or candidates who have a passion for teaching English;
  • Having English Language Teaching Certificate (TEFL/ TESOL/ CELTA) is an advantage

3.Skills, Abilities, Experience

  • Have IELTS 7.0 certificate or good English ability, speaking fluently, and have standard pronunciation
  • Having 1-2 years of experience in teaching English in group is an advantage

4.Other

  • Should be a team player; highly disciplined; proactive and tech-savvy
